When using LPs with PPV traffic I notice conversions are missing in P202.
For example the network will show 10 conversions but when I run a subid report there will only be 7 subids. So my P202 conversion stats will not match the network.
Anyone else notice this? It s a pain since I don’t have an accurate count of which targets are converting.
I’m usually targeting high traffic urls but its odd P202 messes up like this.
Yep, happens to me as well. Although my percentage of lacking sub-id drops is more like 5-10% – your 30% sounds odd.
Ok, glad its not just me.
@Stackman, do you have a fix for this happening with P202 or do you use custom tracking?
the easiest way to solve this problem is to manually update your subids
Do you have a subid for each conversion on the network side?
I do manually update subids each day.
But for some reason, P202 will drop some of the converting subids.
Do you run LPs on high traffic sites and have no issues with converting subids dropping?
No a portion of them get dropped.
Below camp I ran an LP with PPV on high traffic sites.
437 clicks on the LP to the offer (Obv terrible CTR)
but only 390 subids got passed to the network.
For some reason 47 subids were not appended and sent to the network. So around 10% of the subids don’t pass, and any conversions in that 10% of subids I wont know what target converted.
I think P202 even on a dedicated server can’t handle fast PPV traffic with an LP. Works fine when I direct link on high traffic sites but when using an LP I always get drops.
I have this problem myself because i use P202 as well. Always a 10-20% of my conversions are missed through P202. I don’t have a way around this, but i know this happens much less if at all with CPVLab.
I have regular campaign offers that lose their sub id’s at random times..so manually uploading it doesn’t work. I’ve tried to figure it out but it happens randomly here and there. Can’t complain P202 is free but I do notice P202 has a bunch of bugs. I’ve began tracking all PPC activity with CPVLab, seems like redirects are super fast too.
